Introduction and Features of 'C'

C is a high level programming language. It is developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1972.

C is called as structured programming language because it supports the feature of structured programming technique.

C is also known as middle level programming language

       ·        It has own editor.

       ·        It is a case sensitive programming language

‘TURBO C’ is the software for C.

      2.    Turbo C 3

      3.    Turbo C 4.5

    

     Turbo C 2 is the real software for C it is DOS based software.

     Turbo C 3 and Turbo C 4.5 are the software for C++. Since C++ is the extension therefore we can do the C program in Turbo C 3 and Turbo C 4.5 also.

     Turbo C 3 is the DOS based software and Turbo C 4.5 is the windows based software.
